Last night I re-watched an old favorite film: 'The Razor's Edge', staring Tyrone Power.

The movie is about finding yourself,

and realizing that you can't be happy unless you love yourself.

The message hits home with me -

No matter how much I had,

I was never truly happy.

Once I looked into myself and overcame my own demons,

I became happy and at peace.

I hope someday everyone can have that, too.

I just read where you can gauge your health by your walking gait.

The slower you walk, the more apt you are to sickness.

I have always walked at a quicker gait -

mainly because I didn't have a car and had to walk everywhere.

Especially in the winter.

Doesn't make me healthier...

I just don't like to dawdle, that's all.

We had a snow prediction Friday of 2 to 3 inches,

so of course we had over 5.

While I was clearing said snow from my car I had a thought -

I wasn't happy getting 5 inches, but if I were a woman who thought she was getting 2 to 3 inches and received over 5 inches,

wouldn't that make me happy?

People are getting excited over the upcoming Total Eclipse of the sun in April.

Viewing parties are being organized, special glasses and tee shirts are being sold.

A big to do over up to 4 minutes of near darkness in the afternoon.

I do hope that people will not stare with unprotected eyes, because it can cause damage to your eyes.

When the day arrives, I will look out my window,

and when it gets to be near dark I will go outside for a quick peek,

thereby being able to say I saw it.

To me, it's just another instance of making a big deal out of nothing.
