If you want to see someone's personal folder, follow them, then go to recent content from those you follow. You can comment on profile pics the same way.

I think it's separate from pics that have to be 'verified' by a mod as original NN content. Like posting memes, garden/lifestyle pics, etc.

Personal album pics also have to be approved by mods. I was misled by the title of the album to believe they where personal
