Jolly good! Try working out how to open a bottle of spirit that's so old the screw cap is like super-glued! 😜

Ahh see now that a special case.. You run it under a hot tap, then get annoyed hit it with somthing heavy then pour though a strainer. Preferably over some cold ice 💋😂

And when I say something heavy.. The nearest idiot does count depending on density level

Did the hot water fingy but it didn't work. Can't hit it with something heavy, the bottle is made of glass (a strainer wouldn't catch all tiny pieces of glass).

I do like the nearest idiot option, perhaps when the bottle is empty. 😆

Then we need to think about this , a cork screw in the top to make a hole for pouring? What is it you are drinking for it to be that stuck

My friend got a Pernod for £10 from the corner shop (they're nearly £20 @ Tesco). The shop assistants aren't knowledgeable about drinks. We get great deals & they don't know it.

My friend is a big fellow, 6'3, just short of 200lb, a proper African warrior build. He couldn't open the damn bottle. I used a corkscrew but the hole didn't allow to pour anything ...

.. because of foamy layer thing under the cap. So I just carried on with the corkscrew into breaking the cap bits by bits.
