tip
I need to go to some ruins and rub some old walls, not a euphemism.
Both the Wailing Wall & Angkor Wat are kinda far . Minia

They don’t have to be specific ruins to be fair, abbeys, castles, churches are alright. Hate religion, love the buildings!

I always enjoy walking around St Albans cathedral church. I'm not religious either, but it does have a calming effect.

Well they’re mostly fantastic buildings aren’t they. I just love running my hands over old walls imagining how many other people may have done the same thing, or worn stone steps.

It's also great when I go in and the organ is being played.

I was lucky enough to be a pupil at Wells Cathedral school, that awesome building will be forever in my heart, truly an incredible monument to those craftsmen who built it starting in 1175...

Clifton cathedral which is a bit different.

The craftsmanship that went into them was incredible, especially with the tools and equipment they had available.

I love Durham Cathedral maybe not as lavish as some but it’s positioning is near perfection.
