Hi. I'm doing a bit of a road trip around Scotland from 16th to 19th March. I'll be leaving the north of Scotland on the morning of 20th, heading south. I'd like to break the journey and spend the night of the 20th in the south of Scotland or NE England somewhere. Is anyone up there willing to put me up for the night, or can recommend a decent hotel that won't cost a fortune. Genuine request, nothing expected. I'll bring a bottle or two of your favourite tipple as a thankyou...
