I am a sexual Dominant with many years experience, who has decided to return to the lifestyle following a self-imposed sabbatical. Let me outline my thinking on sexual domination. To me being a Dom is as much about caring, nurturing and protecting a submissive as it is about dominating, controlling and punishing them. BDSM should be about mutual pleasure, it does not work if it is one sided. My approach is very much on the mental and emotional level as much as the physical: I really like to play with my submissive’s fantasies and use my creative mind to create arousing scenarios that will further develop their submissiveness. For me there is no excitement like that of getting inside a submissive’s head, finding out just what you can do with her. And I don’t just want her to be submissive, I want to see her manifest it, and exactly according to my instructions, down to the tiniest detail. I want to make her admit it; openly confess her need to obey. I can be firm and forceful, but also calm and gentle as suits the moment. I believe that less is often more and prefer to dominate where possible using the small gesture and the quiet command rather than the expansive sweep or shouted order. Of course, any command must be enforced by the use of appropriately forceful punishment, when required, to complement my other qualities. I believe dominance is the ability to create a hunger in someone that's so strong they will do anything, anytime, anywhere just to please you. I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent and fairly well educated. I would describe myself as quietly confident. I have a good sense of humour and tend to make friends easier with people who also like to laugh. I do not take things, including myself too seriously.
