I believe the idea for the pic comps is to take NEW pics and have some fun. Not recycle old pics with a photoshopped "NN" added. Get creative and have some fun!

Petiteaurora, I have a MacBook Air. I open them in photos first to crop, change lighting, edit out background stuff. Then I open them in preview to cover faces and add watermark. So no app is used.

Watermarking. I've used watermark PRO for Mac from the Apple App store. Was free but you can buy add ons.
